The process in which a substance in the liquid state changes to a vapour (gaseous) state at a fixed temperature is called vaporisation or boiling.
The fixed temperature at which a liquid boils is called its boiling point or vaporisation point. For example, water boils into steam at its boiling point of 100°C.
The boiling point of alcohol is 78°C.
